Youth Alive Crew
NACN Youth Alive are a group ranging in age from 14 to 25 with older Teenagers taking on young leadership roles.
The groups plan is to develop a youth project based on innovation and to use it to help develop new skills, ideas and positive
goals. The Group is very active and always has its door opened to new members that want to get on board.
Living in an area that has not seen very much happen the group aims to deliver outcomes that will benefit not just them but the wider community. The youth feel that they need to be supported by such groups like the local council as a big part of the issues
many people face if exclustion that leads onto Anti-Social Behavior. The next generation needs to be included in the development of the community. Past community consultation has overlook young people as well as many life long residents of the estate.
Through the form of media , NACN Youth Alive aim to tell their stories on social media so the world can hear their voices and the issues they face living in and around Rathcoole.
